different under different light. there are some factors you need consider
when buy, counts of knots per sq inch, materials, and type of dye.
from the price and picture, I guess this one is wool on cotton foundation,
and must be chemical dyed.
In one word, I would not spend $2000 to buy rug online. |

thick foundation prevents water from running through the whole. good rug
can be used way longer than 20 years, like several generations.

and dye are very important too.
like juan said 羊煽味儿, this is actually you want to kind of smell for good
quality rug, the smell won't strong though, just very light, and will be a
little stronger under high humidity.
dye is so important too, actually any vege dye rug won't be bad at all
because it's not necessary to dye low quality wool in such a complicated and
traditional way. vege dye rug looks so much better. I have a chemical dye
rug, and now I am regret that I should have got a vege dye since I've
already spent so much money. vege dye color is not consistent, and more
vivid and real. pricewise, chemical dye rug runs from $20 to $40 per sq ft,
vege ones will be $50-60 if made in afgan, and over $80 for turkish ones (
that's the best) |

to help you out. and you know, the depreciation of rug is very low compare
to most other furniture. you spent $4000 on a sofa which will worth $200
after 20 years, but for the rug, it will hold up the price pretty well, or
even rise for something really nice.

业人士帮忙。rug不像车，一个model一个价，手工编的很难比较价格。turkish的一般
最贵，除了质量好意外，那里人工贵也是原因。所以要说性价比的话，afganistan做的
可能合适点。
网上有多普及知识，你学习一下，被骗的可能性不大。hand knotted的很容易看出来。
vege dye也很容易看，就是颜色不会一致，比如一种蓝色会有很多variation。正规的
店也不会不是羊毛的冒充羊毛的。这个你不用担心。

年还看到了vege dye的，价格也不错，我看中一块好像5x7那样的2000左右。据sales说
价格比他们正常sale的还低15%，而且最好的是，一年内包退。 |
