and leaves for fertilization purpose, since they don't have enough nutrients
for plants to grow. For organic practice, it is better to add something
like chicken manure as well to the soil (non-lawn soil) for fertilization
purpose (as well as organic matter).
Lastly, you can compost grass clippings and leaves. However, compost has
even less nutrients, and its primary purpose is to add organic matter to
wherever you apply them, instead of fertilizing. (Note I am not saying
compost has zero NPK, just that it is so little that you shouldn't use it in
