Time to Make Application: Within five (5) calendar days from the date Buyer
executes this Agreement (the "Loan Application Deadline"), Buyer must
complete an application (collectively, the "Loan Application(s)") for any
loan(s) required by Buyer to complete the purchase of the Property. In
addition, Buyer agrees to provide Buyer's lender all requested supporting
documentation ("Supporting Documentation") within three (3) business days of
the lender's request therefore (the "Supporting Documentation Deadline").
In the event Buyer fails to complete the Loan Application(s) on or before
the Loan Application Deadline, or provide the lender with Supporting
Documentation on or before the Supporting Documentation Deadline, then
Seller may declare Buyer in default and exercise its remedies as set forth
in Section 10.1

更长时间。但是builder会要求在短时间内拿到pre-approval。
不知道你的情况如何 ? 如果builder的lender利率不好,可以比较一下别的lenders。
