以送notice to perform form 让你remove contingency, 如果你在规定的时间不
remove, seller可以把房子卖给下一家. 但是你的deposit一定会还给你. 在没有
remove loan contingency的情况下, 即使过了deadline, seller也不能没收你的
deposit. 至少在加州是这样的.
现在你能做的就是尽量和listing agent说明目前loan做到了什么地步, 大约还需要多
少时间, 可以请loan agent和listing agent沟通一下, 表示一下诚意, 看能不能再拖
延几天.

| c**m 发帖数: 1457 | 6 I think LZ is talking about commitment date. He does has mortgage
contingency. It is commitment date and he has not got the commitment letter
from the lender yet.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Talk to your lender/broker to find out what is missing;
2. What's the ETA that you could get the commitment letter;
Then share this information with seller agent and ask for extension.
Even if they have back up offer and there is still a lot of risk for seller
if they let the house BOM.
If seller doesn't agree to extend commitment date, then your best choice is
to tell them you want to take your escrow money back and walk away. Once the
commitment date passes, you can't take your deposit back.
I never seen a deal fall apart for this reason and most of the time it is
just pressure.
