发帖数: 4844 | 1 俺的池子有十来年了，是in-ground vinyl池壁。最近发现两处靠近水面的地方破裂了
，目前无大碍，但想着有空还是买patch kit来自己给补上。
亚马逊上看了一些产品和评论，现在有如下问题：
1）很多产品，有的说好得很，又有的说根本粘不住。这个以你们的经验那种产品可靠
、好用？
2）那种patch自带胶的和胶水瓶装的哪种更好？俺想着当然得粘水上、水下效果都好
才好。
3）大多产品的patch都是纯色的，可俺家池壁的vinyl是有花纹的，哪里可以买到有不
同花纹的patch？实在不行，俺还有一些原装vinyl的剩余，可不可以买那种瓶装的胶就
用自己的vinyl来粘，俺觉得好像没有什么不可行的理由吧？

I must be an expert in patching pool liners in this forum ... not sure if
that is a compliment to myself ...
I used Boxer vinyl liner adhesive (both small tubes and in larger container)
. It comes with a set of transparent/translucent patches. these work very
well.

I've patched about a dozen pinholes on my liner, and 2 large ones (~8 cm
diameter). All done with the boxer kits (small and big).
Because I drained the pool multiple times (partly due to the leak, partly
due to my stupidity), and refilled the pool, I got a 5ft x 1ft wide big tear
on one side of my liner. Almost all pool companies I consulted told me to
give up on the liner. In the end, I fixed it myself by purchasing a broken
liner, making big patches from the broken, and gluing it to my broken liner.
It must be a miracle that I have saved my liner this way.
It has been 3 years, so far so good, no further leaks are detected.
My liner was at least 15 years old, I just like that pattern so much (no
longer available) and I was happy that I could extend its life for another 5
-6 years.

I've taken carefully notes on your response. So This boxer stuff does work,
that is a great news for me.
Did you use the same Boxer adhesive to repair your super large tear? If so,
I can use the same adhesive with my leftover liner to patch my pool liner,
right?

premium liners are typically 24 mil or 30 mil. the patches coming with the
adhesive are 18-20 mil. So, strength-wise, original liner materials should
work better. the question left is how to best match the pattern/color. My
big patch was white-on-white. Other pinhole patches are transparent-on-white
or -pattern.

发帖数: 4844 | 7 一是看有没有明显的裂口。如果口子在水下，那必然漏水。
二是看水位有没有明显降低，比如即使是阴天。
准确判断需要去买检测漏水的kit, 也就是一种在水里不会过于扩散的色素，在怀疑的
地方挤一点儿，有漏水的话，颜色会顺着漏水的地方跑。

agree. water is going to drain to the lowest leak eventually.
you can use food color

however, this only works for larger leaks, for pinholes, the flow is too
small to detect. professionals use special devices to find those by acoustic
signals.

purchase a set of pro toolkit. I believe it is still far cheaper than hiring
a pro. :-)

一个小塑料桶里面装些水然后放在泳池里面。桶内标一下水线（桶内水面），桶外标一
下水线（泳池水面）。关pump filter。24小时后检查两个水线下降的距离是否一致。
一致的话表明都是蒸发掉的，桶外水线下降多的话说明有漏水
