Transparent and Semi-transparent，。。。忘了这个（透明，半透明，暗的）指的是
stain还是清油。
不知道哪个（透明，半透明，暗的）比较好。

你另有审美标准。Polyurethane 基本是透明的， 又叫罩漆。

1. sanding and scraping - removing surface materials
2. painting = stain (color of stain should match your existing floor)
3. 2-3 coats of polyurethane(no color), sheen level @ satin or the sheen
level of your existing floor
you need to get stain and polyurethane. given how little you know about this
, there is a non-zero probability that you'll mess this up. may want to let
the shifu make purchases and reimburse him.
