1。对silverlight或者wpf很有经验
2。对data structure，algorithms很熟悉。开发的时候能自然而然使用好的结构和算
法。
3。对web technology，ajax，javascript，html，css很了解
如果对silverlight或者wpf不熟悉或者没经验，如果你对别的任何一种语言，比如C/C+
+，
Java，PERL, PYTHON, RUBY, PHP什么的，达到了非常专业的水平，也可以试一下。因
为我们相信到了这种水平想pick up别的technology也就是几天的事情。
如果很符合条件，公司可以给办H-1。

No wonder when we hire a web dev, a college degree is "optional". Man, can
engineering standards be any lower?

from scratch, that requires enterprise business architects, db design, and
all-tier implementation. That's not easy at all.
But if you only need a guy to do front-end work, yeah, if he knows how to
code with JavaScript, CSS, Json, etc, web 2.0 techonologies, that should be
enough.
A person's skills fits the position is more important than a person who has
much more gre

就设计个网页，技术大牛未必有那个艺术天赋，设计出来的东西也很难看

Experiences) are done by design teams or outside firms. Front end dev (web
dev) convert comp/red lines delivered by designs to actual pages. No 艺术性
required what so ever.

design to actual pages with web 2.0 technologies.
However, front end dev usually don't use or need IDE or data structure
knowledge at all, and they don't have to have computer science degrees at
all. But using IDE can be a plus.

matter of fact, we require a lot more than this on an entry level web dev
position. I guess different perspectives form different requirements.

end，这个应该要求比较高
我们公司就不是，所以对front dev要求非常之低，呵呵
所以我们给front end webserver的resource也非常之少，呵呵
比如賺钱的service背后可能有几百台服务器好多昂贵的相关网络设备支持
front end web server，一台server上同事run着好多vmware，然后每个vmware上的web
server可能还run这很多virtual server，就足够了

你们也不要小看3,
光css里面学问就无穷, CSS大牛做出来的东西可以说是艺术品,
这点来说的确艺术性要强些,但又完全靠code实现 |

front end 这个不太需要计多少计算机的背景，我是认为这个需要美学基础加设计灵感。
另外，对 user friendly 这方面要考虑很多，这个就得要经验了。
