You're one month on in the middle of May.
When the sun is warm and the wind is still,
You know how it is with an April day.
Spring is unlocking the flowers to paint the soil. Spring is coming! But it
can't come to the phone nor the internet. Let's leave the internet at home
and go out for a wild trip to appreciate the beauty of nature!
We are arranging a trip to Sequoia in April. The itinerary is as follows.
Day 1 (Friday), leaving Los Angeles in the morning, sightseeing or causal
hiking in the afternoon, and BBQ in the evening.
Day 2 (Saturday), a 12-14 miles day hike, BBQ in the evening.
Day 3 (Sunday), a 6-8 miles day hike, back to LA in the evening.
For the 2 nights in Sequoia, we will stay in a cabin. Because we'll
departure in the Friday morning, we'll need to take the Friday off.
Now we have 7 group members and wanna invite 1 more girl and 1 more guy.
Since we do have many backups, we don't take backups anymore. Once you
decide to join, we will treat that as a commitment. Please write to me at
your early convenience if you are interested in this trip. First come first
serve : )
Frogs croak, rains soak, chicks peep, crickets leap, bees hum, robins come,
birds sing and it's spring!
We are looking forward to walking with you in the forest...

Attention!
A catastrophic earthquake destroyed the entire Sequoia and Kings Canyon area
yesterday! Flash floods swept and ruined everything in their paths. The
entire Sequoia area is now totally damaged. There is no way to go there on
April 20th. This trip has to be cancelled!
Fortunately, the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service
announced to issue a $500 American Airlines Credit Certificate to each
people who has to cancel the trip to Sequoia in April, May and June. Based
on the cabin reservation, we can receive up to 15 AA Credit Certificates
with different names and addresses.
We have 5 ppl quota left. Anyone who wants to take this advantage please
send your name and address to me ASAP. I need to act quickly to submit the
airline credit application.
The address doesn't have to be your residential address. Any addresses
including a P.O. Box are fine. Just ensure that you can receive the AA
credit certificate by mail.
Lastly, how about we use the $500 American Airlines credits to buy air
tickets to Hawaii for a tropical trip?
