Chinese Language Instructor position (part-time) available at a language
school based in West LA.
The Chinese Language Instructor will be developing curriculum and
instructing students of various levels and backgrounds. 25-50 per hour DOE.

Job Qualifications:
1. Native fluency in Chinese Mandarin;
2. Master’s Degree or above in Chinese Linguistics, Chinese Literature,
Foreign Language Education, Asian Studies or a closely related field; Phd
preferred;
3. High proficiency level in English
4. At least two years’ experience in teaching Chinese as a second language
in a classroom setting;
5. At least two years’ experience in curriculum development for Chinese
materials;
6. Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and practices in teaching
Chinese language in the U.S..
Only candidates who have met all qualifications above will be considered.
Please note that this is a part-time position and that we will NOT sponsor H
-1b work visas.
