Part-Time Customer Service Representatives-Bilingual in English
and one of the following languages:
Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese
Starting Pay: $14.51 - $30.22
The Southern California Gas Company is searching for part-time Customer
Service Representatives who have a good command of the English language and
are also fluent in the Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese. The ideal
candidate will have 2-3 years of customer service experience, be able to
multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage a heavy call volume.
Overview of Position:
Provide one-stop telephone contact for customer service requests,
collections and credit extensions, billing inquiries, appliance adjustments,
and service trouble.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs duties within Company guidelines and established safety procedures.
* Communicates with customers by telephone; Communicates with customers in
English and a language other than English (e.g., Korean)
Initiates field orders (by computer or manually); Originates trace orders,
verifies orders, etc.
* Uses computer to access data, inputs customer information, and issues
orders; * Establishes credit or determines if deposit is required.
* Handles complex credit and billing inquiries (i.e., high-bill
investigations, customer credit status, past-due payment arrangements,
closing bills, and returned checks).
* Explains rate schedules; discusses baseline allowances, service policies
and operational features of appliances.
* Schedules turn on and close orders/appliance adjustments/high-bill
investigations.
* Coordinates emergency leak order responses.
* Prepares forms to correct customer information for billing records.
* Advises customers on energy conservation measures and products
* Performs clerical and accounting functions pertaining to customer order,
adjustments, corrections, investigations, and data for customer
correspondence.
* Works completed field orders and prepares necessary billing records forms.
* Prepares customer correspondence; Files customer applications.
* Performs various other equivalent and lower-grade functions.
External Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
Must pass a pre-qualification examinations
Must pass the language fluency test
Must pass a panel interview
Possess excellent oral communication skills
Possess an excellent customer service skills
Must pass a drug screen

我一个同事曾经在sampra --也就是socal gas做过很多年的contractor
跟我说，那地方简直是天堂啊，干活少，拿钱多，每天乐乐呵呵。可惜那地方IT基本不
招人，一般都是找contractor干活好让他们正式 员工更舒服
我那个同事是个大胖子，说他在sampra干活的几年是他最怀念的，因为在蒙特利公园市
，每天去吃dim sum

发帖数: 2313 | 3 说对了 这SoCalGas就是个天堂 福利好呀 活儿轻松又少 但挣的钱可不少 我最近
两个同事跳槽去了 一个是做会计的 一个是律师 嘿 这可把我公司给比下去了 但
我公司不断今天裁员明天REORG后天又来搞一个LEAN或6 SIGMA 没完没了 怪不了大家
都想走人了
SoCalGas这活儿说是半职 但进去了蹭一蹭也就全职了 很容易的 呵呵
