我们单位很多人住那边，西边买不起南边昂贵区的好多都跑到santa clarita去了

学区不可能好，老莫聚集的地方，挺有名的因为房子boom过度投资没人买的地方
现在恢复的怎样不知道，肯定不是好区

发帖数: 3017 | 9 同学，我就是住在一天来回4个小时的地方上了5年班，吓怕了，身体年轻尚好， 不过
真的没有life! 后来搬家了，单程只要18分钟，太爽了。
palmdale 也是新社区，房价便宜，如果学区不好，可以省下房钱去私立学校，一年也
就2万块，回家时间快，多陪陪孩子，不是更好。
那边学区不了解，自己去查查吧

详细情况，这个你要具体研究，自己实地开车去一下，选个周末跟weekday, 比较一下
不同社区。
生活肯定不如san gabriel valley 方便。

就是快到sfv才开始塞的
所以西边的人买那边的房子上班比买解放区的要节省一些时间

Not sure about the school district in Granada hills. Housing price is a

上班早晚是反着traffic走的，完全不用担心堵车。
Santa Clarita基本上到Palmdale到华人去的中间。每次过都觉得房子好心。主要集中
在靠近14号高速东侧。
Valencia肯定不行，没有高速去Palmdale，走过一次绕的很。
如果在Palmdale住，一定要在14号以西的区，Rancho Vista Blvd 附近，越西越好。 |

Houses are built generally around late 90s or early 2000s on the back of
Santa Susanna mountain with great mountain views (also a famous backdrop for
some movies). The elementary school Stevenson Ranch Elementary is ranked (
based on API in 2013) the 2nd best elementary school in all southern
California (including LA/Orange/SD). The community is mostly white with
growing Asian population. There are probably around 50 Chinese families
there. Closest Chinese supermarket is Ranch 99 in Van Nuys, 20 min drive. |

发帖数: 44 | 46 santa clarita我有朋友住在那所以很熟。这边学区好的原因不是因为中国人，是因为
韩国人。20%的亚裔人口大部分是韩裔，现在中国人也越来越多。如果你要买房子，建
议在stevenson ranch和valencia买，两个高中（west ranch high和valencia high）
都不错。如果还觉得不够好，市里还有一个要考试进去全valley统招的高中(Academy
of the canyons)。Saugus其实学区也不错，就是夏天太热（整个santa clarita夏天都
太热，但是saugus最热）。如果你要买新房子，valencia和saugus都有新房子在卖，7
，80万就可以买到2，3000千尺的新房子。
