Celebrate Be Kind to Animals Week with The Waggin’, the Pasadena Humane
Society and SPCA’s mobile adoption vehicle, which will be on-site with dogs
available for adoption! Barks & Books will also provide children the
opportunity to read a book to a gentle, well-trained dog. Crafts will be
available as well for the whole family to enjoy.

Southern California’s free books and authors festival, LitFest Pasadena,
celebrates its sixth anniversary this year by expanding to include Pasadena
Public Library as a partner organization. The library will offer LitFest
programming for all ages at Central Library, including:
Flights of Fantasy Story Theatre presents “It’s All How You Look At It,”
a special story hour.
