cheap; another PI told me he pays $1100 for 2 bed room apartment. So, it is
very difficult to give a general idea. They are the only 2 people I met who
live in apartments in Metairie.
by the way, I just came back from there today. They are interviewing so many
people right now.

it is a high criminal city before the hurricane,
a lot of corps here to help the local police to control the crime
I heard that it probablely takes 10 years to recover

Mandeville, Covington etc.
better elmt school, safe life, and safe from hurricane
if you are single, that's different.

and some people during interview also told me they are busy at interviewing
people! Very busy, in fact.
I do not think it is a problem to buy a house there. many hourse were not
touched by flood last time.
Man, take it easy! if this is your only offer, then you have no choice; if
you have more than 1 offers, then you can take others; but I guess LSUHSC offer
is very very competitive, right?
