1.
Today I started to read this book. Although I only completed the
Introduction part, I am attracted by the interesting lore of cats. In the
book, it is mentioned that most people prefer to cherish dogs which are
loyal and smart. People think cats are feminine and indocile. Because the
person who I fall in love with likes cats, I want to know detailed
characteristics of cats. Moreover, I want to improve my English reading and
writing skills. I will insist on writing a post by English every day.
Hopefully, I managed to forget him, concentrate on things that I am
interested, and start a new life.
2.
Today I come to the first part, The Conversion of Boston Blackie. It
describes that a stray cat doesn’t consider itself as a cat and has some
kind of mental problem. The cat attacks other cats once he catches sight of
them. He bites them and makes many wounds on them. The couple who owns the
attacked cats are bothered by the stray cat. So they try to find ways to
solve the problem. Finally, they decide to kill the stray cat. What will
happen to the cat, will be told later. Thanks for your attention.
P.S.：
It is so hard for me to write in English. And I am reluctant to revise my
writing. I feel uncomfortable when I write. But anyway, I will keep up
reading and writing. Practice makes perfect.

In the Chapter One titled the conversion of Boston Blackie, the stray cat
Blackie finally turns to be normal and resides in the couple’s house. He
stops attacking other cats, and tries to be friends with them. Although
sometimes he cannot get rid of the bad habits and switches differently
between day and night, he gets along well with other cats. He is brave and
never hungry. For example, he grabs mice on meadow during winter. He often
runs out of the house no matter how bad the weather is. Therefore, he is
lucky to avoid being shot to death, and become one of the family members. | i********e

I agree with the princess' comments on the second half of this sentence,
but am not sure about those on the first part. To me, "even before" does
not seem to be what IMM meant to say, while "although" actually works fine
in this context.
Aside from that, there are a few points to be made on the subtleties of the
language, which go well beyond the "correct/incorrect" territory. In
"introduction part," the word "part" is largely an "vermiform appendix" that
does not serve any useful purpose. You might as well get rid of it. In the
second half of the sentence, the word "interesting" becomes rather redundant
because of "attracted" that precedes it.
So here's how I would compose that sentence: "Although I have only finished
reading the introduction, I am already fascinated by the lore of the cats."
Very true. You can insist on doing something all you want, but you still
may

entirely sure what that means. You might want to try
