1. find people in your academic family, like former lab members,
advisor's co-workers. You need to talk to the advisor and seek
his/her help.
2. connect to people in your field. Go to conference or job fair
and talk to people from either acdemia or industry who is in the
field you are working or interested in working in the future.
3. network with your college friends (former classmate or friends in US).
