基本上把 1.material: 3M, GE, P&G, J&J, Goodyear,
Pall, Corning, Zeus, Nike etc
2.biotch: Zimmer, Allergan, Stryker,
Medtronic, KCI, life-cell,
DSM, ev3, coviden etc.
3.Semicon.: Intel, Micron, ON, Freescale,
Infinon, K&S, Cree,
Applied material, TI, First solar etc.
这些公司都投了
Phone Interview: Micron(process engineer),
Apple(reliability engineer),
CookMed(Prip. Scientist)
Kimberly-Clark(No sponsor)(Mechanical Engineer),
First solar(development engineer)
On site Interiew: Cree(Reliabilty Scientist)
A local fiber optics company
Accepted: the fiber optics company(friends recommendation)
学术界不是这个料，虽然有老板推荐，但是还是不想去
心得：1. Resume 上 需不需要H1b等信息，尽量不要写。拿到phone interview 的公司中
只有递给First solar的简历写了需要H1b sponsor
2. cover letter, 拿到phone interview的统统没有写
3. 面试准备一定要充分，看几本面试相关的书，是必需的。
总结：1.solid network is the best
2.沾边的相关经历的职位，能投就投 | x****g

Glassdoor上是说很变态的。实际上也就是Tough了一点。
Phone Interview 等于啥都没问。
On site interview 旅途糟糕透顶，前一个晚上就睡了2个小时。
再前前一个晚上睡了4个小时，所以面试当天状态很差。
下面是我的记录
1. presentation
list all the details, audience can read from what you put on,
you do not need read every thing presented.
a big picture, balance between previous and present
details, direct details, easy to understand
everything list should cause no problem, and understand all
objective clear, whys,
2. 1-1 interview
prepare questions first
From people 1
1. what kind of test, detail,
2. how crosslink, detail
3. tensile tester vs DMA: totally different
4. FTIR: sample preparation
From people 2,
1. a whole group, needs cooperation
2. what ever you do, complete it
3. scientist's job includs: operator's, technician's, engineer's and
scientist's job
4. need you support with each other in the team
From people 3
1. clear with what he asks, confirm with what he said by repeating his
question in your own way
2. think before answer
3. question: dim bulb
From people 4
1. detail of the concept, or term, so can be understood by others with
different backgroud
From people 5
1. clear with the group
2. firm and clear answer to their question, consistent answers
From people 6
1. wire bond, NAND backgroud
2. pothole problem, thermal expansion summer and winter
Lunch,
1. think before you answer, have meal, think and answer
2. topics (prepare topics, interesting topics)
3. no phone calls
4. speak with mouth empty
dinner
1. Person 1, 2 and 3
2. barber's question,
3. as a manege, data from engineer, how to deal with the data
4. daily basis, work as an scientist, 20% document, 80% experiment? or
not
5. clear thinking, list numbers 1, 2, 3 ...
6. logic thinking
7. what I dislike as a process develop engineer
8. redundent work, boring work
9. Now with PhD, what you think the project manager will do
10. how to deal the info. data
11. How to plan experiment
12. how to make a decision

clear with what the group is looking for?
clear with what they are doing
don't say challengeing or not chanllenging
every job has two side: boring and stimulating you need you take both
