i am working right now, in FEA stress analysis area, but i found it's still
hard to find the second job. Most of the jobs posted, citizenship or PR is
required.
For the industry prediction, the entire automobile industry is dying, I mean
for the Big three. Aerospace likes you to have PR at least, I was contacted
three times by the Boeing staffing, but they told me they have never sponsored
H1B, even for the commericial aircraft interior structure job area.
The way we can focus is to

aerospace jobs. Thanks for your kind remind, the trouble is, I am already in
ths boat, no turning back :(
I'm looking for a job in FEA also, except those government-contractor monsters
and repeatedly appeared fake ads, I could barely find a fit one, and a phD
title make it worse. YU MEN.

发帖数: 28 | 8 nod. I knew a CFD postdoc who got an offer from GE Transportation immdediately
after greened his card. For Boeing, Martin and stuff like that, GC is not
enough though.

发帖数: 1423 | 10 GC does help. if you get citizenship, you still can not get the security
clearance. at GC, at least you can work in Boeing at Seatle, the base for
commercial aircraft.
for my interview experience, many fortune top 500 companies require GC only.
