I know it is a complex process to determine the exact persistence length of a
given polymer. I do not need the precise number, just a rough idea what the
persistence length of my polymer is. Is there any simple calculation or
measurement that I can do? Thanks.

no no, I do not want to measure it. Just want to get an idea how big
it could be.

when I searched this book in my school's online library catelog, I found
"Wunderlich, Bernhard, 1931---". Is it you? hehe

U can determine it by measuring its transverse fluctuation.
