we know that -SH is a common chain transfer reagent, so it is difficult to
induce it into polymer spheres during emulsion polymerization process.

Need a little more information.
Do u want to modify your polymer with HS after polymerization? is there any
reactive group left on your polymer, such as OH, or COOH or ... ?
