Recently I read several papers ending like this:
"That new capability has prompted the investigation of the properties of
this attractive class of... which will be the subject of forthcoming papers."
or like this:
"The syntheses of the block polymers with various composition and molecular
weights, and the physical properties such as ....are now under investigation."
They were published 10 years ago and I can't find the relevant follow-up.
