the patent was filed 2003...now it is searchable from scifinder
but my (first) name was wrong there...what can I do?

just ask your lawyer to change it back.
I believe it is not officially filed yet. Because every patent application
will be searable 1-2 years before it is filed. Public can use these period to
question or invalidiate the patent.
