POSITION: A postdoctoral research associate position is available with
Professor Robert Weiss in the Dept. of Polymer Engineering at the University
of Akron in Akron, OH. The initial appointment is for one year, but there
is the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory progress and the
availability of funds.
QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate should have a PhD in chemical or polymer
engineering or a related field with experience in measuring and analyzing
the rheology of polymer solutions or melts.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidates will study the melt and solution
behavior of associating polymers, including ionomers. This will include
shear and extensional measurements. Some polymer synthesis may be necessary
, but that is not a large part of the work. The equipment that will be used
is primarily an ARES G-2 rheometer.
The position is available immediately. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications (~$35-45k/yr), and the position includes benefits.

另有polymer的master，所以博后想做高分子合成，可惜找不到合适的老板。求推荐。
