reporters are pretty good. I have the impression that they had strong views
in advance, and cited one remark after another from math profs to build
their case. it looks a hack like a closing statement for a trial by a
plantiff lawyer. though, I agree Yau went too far making a big deal of their
effort. Indeed, Cao and Zhu did not make a fuzz of it at all.
A passing note, Perelman won IMO gold at age of 14, a notch better tha
