solve it, then we realized how different we were taught: he tends to use
vector and sphere intersection stuff, based on my memory of middle school
maths, i tend to add lines to form triangles and i think that is enough to
solve the problem. hehe

we first need to discourage students from doing math, we dont need that many
mathematicians. who said it? Jean-Pierre Serre.
that kind of stuff on the preentry exam will be pretty much forgotten
immediately after the students have passed the exam. it is totally useless
