I am working on the homework of statistics class.
I wonder if I can post one of problems which I cannot solve.
Maybe someone can just give some clues.
X is Binomial distribution: X ~ BIN(m,p)
Y is Negative Binomial distribution: X ~ NEGBIN(r,p)
How to transfer between CDF of X and Y?
Suppose Px(x=k)= C(m,k)*p^k*(1-p)^(m-k).
Py(y=k)=C(k-1,r-1)*p^r*(1-p)^(k-r).
