try to use $\int\!\!\!\!\! - $. You need try to change the
number of \! to arrange the position of -. I can not give
you the exact number of \! since I don't have my latex files
at hand.
Here \! is to give a negative thin space.
You can define the above composition as a new command.
This works since I write latex file in this way. :)
