for a function phi = f( theta)
so in two dimension, the points along a circle, points are compressed to x-
axis, but y is a pivot of splitting.
The nearer the point near the x-axis, the more compression.
Thought for days, no smooth solution.
Something like the Von Mises distro in Wiki.
