1. Whenever u see an HIV positive patient on pentamidine with seizure think
((pentamidine induced hypoglycemia..and check blood glucose!!))
2. The CT scan can be normal in 5% of patients with a subarachnoid
hemorrhage within the first 12 hours of headache onset. Between 24 and 72
hours from onset of headache, up to 25% of CT scans can be normal. Therefore
, if one suspects a subarachnoid hemorrhage from the patient's history, it
