difference between extension and abduction? I try to move my thumb, it seems
it has only 2 directions to go . And what's the Chinese for "oppositon"? I

this: flextion and extention happen in the plane of the palm, while
adduction and abduction are movements perpendicular to the plane of the palm
. Opposition is the combination of flexion and abduction. |
