ask the PD (my prelim program) for LOR in mid-August or September. By that
time, for a intern who just start training for 2 months, I think it is more
likely a time point that I am in the adjustment period (show my weakness and
make mistake) rather than shine myself. So I am not sure the PD will offer
me a strong LOR during the first 2 months of my internship.

发帖数: 16 | 4 Maybe I need to make things more clear. Actually, I just matched to prelim
surgery program but NOT categorical program, so that I have to re-apply to
other specialty (I don't want to do surgery indeed) this year.
Do you still think the PD will feel bad for a prelim intern to interview for
other specialty? Please give me your idea. Tanks a lot. |
