证，还不知何时能考试，这个Eligibility Period 与考试时间有何不同，是否我必须
要在Eligibility Period内考完Step1？

发帖数: 428 | 2 看了information booklet里面对这个的解释，我的理解是这样的：一旦你的报名被
ECFMG接受了，他会assign给你一个eligibility period，你必须在这个peirod里面完
成考试；你在报名的时候可以选一个period，但实际assign到的period是ECFMG根据你
的认证情况来决定的。 |

发帖数: 121 | 4 I called the ECFMG about this question. Anyway, you have to choose one
eligibility period to complete the application. If your form 186 doesn’t
arrive in time before your eligibility period expires, they will adjust you
to a next contiguous period.

complete the application?
Actually I am not ready for step 1 this year. Can I just let it expire
without doing anything? Would that be a big deal?
I wish someone could help me figure it out. Thanks a lot. |

以内? 还是几个月以内? 我也想开始弄报名的东西, 但还没准备好考试. |

发帖数: 163 | 7 我的理解是：是的，报名时就要选择考试时间，3个月一个“period”，不能夸年份，
但可以向后延一个“period”（三个月）。 |

了。 |
