敏，3，4个病人什么都问不出来，PN有几个diff Dx不会拼。。。
但是我fail 在SEP上了，写出来求大家的建议！
我的口语比较差，向来不太擅长讲话，虽然练了很多遍，但是考试的时候一紧张就哆嗦
了，而且有几个病人由于没有什么cc（fatigue),就搜肠刮肚反复的问，结果有不少
broken sentence。。。
fail了，不知道今年还赶的上么。。而且这sep也不是一天两天就可以提高的。。大家
给我出出主意吧啊一，什么program/training啊什么的。american accent training
也听了，感觉帮助有限哪，我的发音尚可，就是不会讲话。。。

March and retook the CS in May. I thought I could be able make all the
sentences right during the test since I don't have problem of talking to my
co-workers. That turned out really wrong. In the second round of preparation
, I took one month off from my work and got a tutor from WyzAnt. I practiced
with my tutor 1-2 hours every day. Before meeting with tutor, I wrote down
all the questions as protocols and memorized th

very informative!
actually I realize that I made a big mistake when I asked one patient about
the "missing a beat" feeling. She asked me what do you mean? then I tried to
explain.. but she still do not understand, then I know i messed up.
it happened when there was just 2 PN left...
I should not have drunk coffee during 2nd break. it made me nervous.

一开始也不紧张，就是mess up 第一个pn后就背脊发凉了。

发帖数: 602 | 8 感觉你没按照套路出牌。理论上所有可能考的CASES你都应该复习过了，每一个CASE应
问什么问题都应该很熟练。考之前把每一句话都说出来让老美朋友听听，不正确的尽量
改，改不过来的换别的问法。即使万一碰到没见过的CASE， 按照套路(OPCSFD +
PAMHUGSFOSS)也应该能应付。下够功夫没问题的。

赶紧先报上CS的名，争取七月份排上，赶上今年的match.
按茶包说的，反复练FAcases,把每句要问的，要说的都写下来，反复朗诵。
下次考试前几天，家里对话一概用英语，可能考试时说起来会更利索些。

怎么读，但读出来朋友总说不准确，最后就把ulcer改成open sore. |

我最大的失误的地方，是没有找美国人纠正句型。虽然我也背了，什么时候怎么问也固
定了，但是还是不是很自信，特别是最后几个，人有点累了，明显的反应慢，不能很
focused。。。我通常不问miss a beat，这时候不知道怎么就出了口。
而且在这里我也建议那些没有烤过的朋友，最好要找没有medical background的人来练
习几次。和partner 练习过多会导致focus 在细节上面，而忽略了整体的印象。而这个
考试，是病人看你象不像医生，不是pick a right Dx。
再回过头看看，这个考试也正好指出了我最薄弱的地方。再次感谢楼上各位给我的指点。

then others who had good or bad experiences made corresponding comments or
suggestions.
then lz and many ppl who are diving learned why lz failed and how to make
progress and correct the problem.
then you will success!

your situation this time last year. Gave yourself sometime to rethink your
performance in the exam, write down your unsure points which you think might
be right, then ask experts. The most important lesson I learned from my two
tests is: even though you are nervous, worried, and 10000 miles from being
a real doctor, at least behave like a doctor! I thought my second time exam

发帖数: 196 | 16 我建议你找个当地考过CS的人，最好老中，因为交流容易，也比较了解我们自己的问题
，跟你过几个case。有些时候我们自己不知道问题，但别人一看就会发现，所谓当局者
迷。如果实在当地没人，就用netmeeting请别人帮你看看。一般过了的人，尤其是挂了
一次才过的人，对于考试还是有些心得的。

English. At that time, I focused on the H&P and PN, and never thought about
speaking English would be a problem since I am in the US for 6 years at that
time. But it turned out that I was totally wrong. I took the CS again one
year later because I had to have my thesis and defense done. I thought I
made more mistakes in the 2nd time, because I misunderstood the pts in at
least 4 cases but I only recalled that happened once |

最近在clinic OB，认真看了医生的encounter，更加明白自己的差距在哪里，现在回想
自己的cs,的确很naive。
