One AMG surgical intern quit surgery and worked with me in the lab for one
yr, and then back in path PGY-2 directly at UC.
usually, surgical preli, welcome to apply for anesthesia, path, and many
other hot specialities.

Sure. If possible, try to get at least one letter from a pathologist.

if not, that's OK and no big deal.
surgeon's LoR is powerful enough if they do write a good and strongly
supporting one.
