Step3 的成绩,非常高兴我可以和USMLE说再见了.临走前再做点贡献,希望对正在辛勤复
习的考友能有些帮助.
我比较懒惰,没有读很多的复习资料,所用的考试材料就是Kaplan Notes 和FA.反复看了
2-3遍Notes,然后是FA,最后以UW World 收场.
对Step1,自我感觉这些东东正好不多不少.
对Step2CK,Notes和UW World仍然是最好的,但FA并不是太好,讲的非常粗浅,不推荐.
对Step2CS,FA和UW World are perfect. 我认为那是all the matrials you need 加上
强化的练习.我得感谢我老公对我的帮助,我们一起练习了1-2遍FA后面的cases. 最关键
的是时间的控制,练习的时候必须定时,注意每一个细节,draping,taking history,
washing hands, summary, counseling, PE.多练些复杂耗时的cases,HBP,DM,Dementia
...反复看看FA 前面的Cha | d*******n

Now I already finished kaplan notes twice. I still feel that I havent
memorized a lot. I plan to take the step1 in next three months. But I havent
done UW, just past FA once. I am going to start UW this week. I am full
time working. Everyday I can study 4-5 hours. I am afraid that it is
impossible to make my goal. Do you have any suggestion?

icefox9, for your questions, I graduated in 97. If you have hard time to
memorize or understand the notes. Keplan video is a good resource to watch.
It takes more time than just reading the notes, but you will understand much
better. I watched some of them. There is also mp3 file of the video, which
allows you to listen to the lectures whenever and wherever you can. If I
were you, I will not jump into UW now. UW only allows you to practice your
exam skills and improves your | i*****9

work now. If it is convenient for you, you can type Chinese.
I totally agree with what you said. I already finished watching the video
and Goljan audio. They are super good for me. My problem is, When I am
listening and reading, I understand. But after I close the book, I forgot
almost everything. I think i am too old (I am 3 years older than you) and
also busy, with too kids and full time job.

Otherwise, I will do that in last post.
Apparently, u have prepared a lot for the exam. Now, I think that the
problem u have maybe that the contents in the notes did not really "enter"
your memory. You have to do something to force that to happen. My suggestion
is to use FA as an outline. Read FA and try to memorize the notes without
looking at it. You can go back and forth. It will be time-consuming, but
very helpful. PS, | i*****9
