PStrack只满足申请licence最低要求，对临床技能的训练远不如单纯的临床track。可
能影响工作出路，大多数毕业生只能去做科研或者一半科研一半临床，去private
practice很受排挤。 |

in addition to against Dok's main points for all of us!
While it is wonderful to have so many ppl who contribute to this forum, it
would be encouraging and better to make sure your points are true, or at
least close to the truth. Otherwise, better to say it in a not sure way. my
2 cents. No offense! :-)

我到觉得andy讲的大概差不多。不过也没什么排挤不排挤的问题，关键是ps pathway本来就不是给private practice准备的

piece of cake if you want to get one? Secondly, do you know what kind of
hospitals are qualified to offer the programs? Thirdly, how could you know
for sure the job market for a physician-scientist while this is still a new
track and even none of experts has known its future for sure ? 4) Does it hurt if you could shoot down one of the programs? Come on,

and..........Life style in academia is much much better than private
practice. believe me, there's no free food in America, you want to make
money in private practice, you gotta pay your time and family life. |

probabaly make half million a year, otherwise how can they tolerate lives
like that. They have tons of patients, work like horses, in the hospital all
the time, got paged by nurses and residents every night. god......can't
imagine.doctors are trained like this but how can their families not go
crazy. |

without sleep and how much pain our pre-Banzhu made and refined it from!

Only about 45 university IM programs offer PSP, so it is actually highly
competitive. If a person really wants to get into a decent or 1st tier
university IM program，PSP is probably the biggest chance for a lot of CMGs
with PhD. If Yale offers me a crab cake, I would definitely think twice to
take a piece of pizza. |

不下来了。还说现在的resident真幸福啊，还有cap，他们那时是往事不堪回首。我们
几个postcall的睁着一双血丝眼面面相觑。。。。。
指望能熬出头享福的，真不要选内科和外科，纯体力活干一辈子。好歹搞些有些技术含
量的病理啊，麻醉啊啥的。

last night, so report some information I saw from that school. Their
graduates went almost everywhere, professor in university, private practice,
industry. I think the future of MD/PhD is quite good. The only problem is
if you can get in. I don't see any weaker training for clinical practice
because they take the exact same class as medical student and then you spend
two or three more years on research, so this program is |
