拜halloween的costume（我非常非常喜欢这次的装扮，can't wait)，然后还要修改上
个礼拜所有的dictation，最后，坐下来看电视吃东西，决定为我们医版内科的同学们
做点贡献，写我的内科执照考试准备经验。我觉得这是本版第一次有人写内科board,我
非常自豪地做这第一个人，哈哈哈。我以前一点概念都没有的，现在写下来希望后来的
同学至少有点概念。you guys are luckier than me.:)
首先的首先的首先，我知道我写了好几个首先，但是还是不够，最最重要的是，内科执
照考试，不是一个月两个月突击的考试，是日积月累的，不要指望像step1,step2一样
，能给你每天大半天的时间坐下来看书，也没有很多很多题目可以搞题海战，所以从你
开始做intern的第一天起，就应该把这根弦绷紧。这个考试的重要意义，不仅在于将来
你可以从医，更重要的是，应该成为你每天学习的motivation,对你的三年住院医生的
工作起到帮助。我在最后复习的时候，总是忍不住想，哎呀我当初要是看到 |

发帖数: 2763 | 5 knock on wood你最好一次考过，否则太痛苦了。专科一般两年，也就是说第二年你就
要准备专科board了，如果之前还要为这个在挣扎，是很痛苦的。
但是没有通过的话，是可以重新考的，每年只有八月，所以要等到第二年。很多医院，
诊所如果知道没有考过，都不会签合同的。会很麻烦。

I don't know if there was any changes this year. When I had the exam: 60
questions/2 hrs and 4 blocks. Total 240 questions. Too much extra time
compared to step 1,2,3. And the questions are very reasonable.
IM was the easiest exam in my life!!!
MKSAP is so far the best books for learning IM esp in your 2nd year. However
, MKSAP is too much for IM board.
We went to Arora review in big New York area. Just like you mentioned, 一个
礼拜的强度化填鸭. Lots of fun.

who are re-certificating, no time to study, or failed in the past just need
lots of help. those courses are around late june and july, so you won't
have much time to study afterwards anyway.
self-motivating studying is the most important part of this exam.
Washington manual is not for board review, but for daily practice quick
glance, Mayo clinic is more for board prepare purpose.

it's a series book prepared by ACP (american college of physicians), and
MKSAP 14 is the older version now, i believe 15 just came out this July. you
should either purchase or bowrrow from your hospital library, (i personally
think every resident should owe one), it covers all the IM subspecialties,
and come with a self-assessment question CD. once you register on line after
you got the books, it will also let you share the most recent upd

programs are offering it free or small amount of fee for their residents in
NYC, NJ. almost 70% of the internal medicine board questions are from that
course.
当然了，为了学知识还是MKSAP经典， Medstudy 我最喜欢Renal. |

And almost everyone of us have a set of MKSAP books. The MKSAP 15 books and
online Questions are only around $340 if you are an ACP member(order before
July 30 to get 15% discount), the member fee is $109. So I spent total of $
449. But I haven't read one page yet. And those Indians, they have Medstudy
also, but photocopy versions.Some programs provide book allowence(书和智能手
机可以报销）.
