Materials:
FA, Kaplan notes, Kaplan Qbook, Kaplan Qbank, UW Qbank, and NBME plus USMLE
sample CD.
Time:
1 year, 2-3 hours average everyday.
Strategy:
At first, I took a glance of the First Aid and sample CD, just to have some
general impression on the contents of Step 1. Then I reviewed the Kaplan
notes twice, and practiced Kaplan Qbook subsequently. In April, I took
practice on Kaplan Qbank( about 75% correct). And in mid June, I took UW
Qbank( about 75% correct). In | d****e

I am an old CMG , going to take in 3 months, and would like to do UW Qbank
alone, do you think it's enough? Or should I do a quick review of the Kaplan
Qbank too.
Did you do NBME online, how close it is correlated to your final score?
My Target is not 99, but >90.

I read average 2-3hours for almost one year, Kaplan almost twice, FA more
than 2 times, but still can not handle UW, only get 30-40% timed mixed. | n***8

I got 238/99, I took 1 year and 2 months x 3-4 hr/week day and 7-8 hr/
weekend to accomplish.
Maybe Louzhu is smarter. | G**A

发帖数: 37 | 7 If I were you, I would choose Kaplan qbank instead of UW based on the
following reasons:
1.Kaplan is more similar to the real exam in the content, style, and
difficulty. 2.UW is much trickier. I think it maybe useful for getting a
high score such as 99, but not for mastering the basic concepts, which is
your major task now.
I did not take the NBME online(No money to buy!). But it was about 85
percent correct when I first did it before 2 weeks ago to take the real exam.

Kaplan and/or UW qbank is essential for everyone who want to get a high
score.
