general less calls. Many AMGs compete for the TY positions.

I have a word for you. don't chose IR, from the trend now, more and more
vascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists are going into the
interventional filed. almost all newly graduated surgery fellows are pretty
good at catheter based interventions, and with the proposed cut in
cardiology procedure reimbursement, it will drive more cardiologist to do
periheral interventions, which will leave the IR guys with even narrower
field.

managed private group I did my away Rads rotation, the IR doctors have done
pretty well so far. I definitely will keep this in mind. It's still 5 years
away and I'll make the final decision along the way. |

this will get more and more apparent when more and more endo trained fellow
going out to practice. that is why IR is not such a hot fellowship even it

lifestyle, and they don't want IR. Every year some IR fellowship
positions are unfilled. During interview, every program said that if you
want IR, they can place you to a good program.
