this test? Or is it just one of a bunch of screening test? What is your
gender? What is your age? Any other abnormal results? Just with a single ANA
positive, especially low titer, you usually don't need to be panic. That is
also one example of the usefulness of positive predictive value in ordering

发帖数: 177 | 4 thank you for the reply. I feel much relaxed. My anti-scl-70 is 1:170. (
normal range 0-32). So kind of high.
I don't have any sympotoms and it is just annual physical checkup. I don't
know why it is ordered. | o********y

features. for the instance, lupus autoantibodies could be shown 2-9 years
earlier. but don't be scared. start from today with healthier life style,
eat less fatty good, exercise more often, less stress... watch out symptoms:
tight skin, hearburn, Raynaud's. scleroderma like lupus has no cure so far.
i had my ANA positive 4 years ago. so far so good but better prepared. good

than 1:160 in most of them.
Thus, if the titer higher than 1:160, should pay more attention. |
