When people graduated from year 2007 to year 2000, they call themselves as
old FMGs, too.
When people graduated from year 2000 to year 1990, they definitely called
themselves old FMGs.
No mention those who graduated before year 1990.
The question is who the real old FMGs are.
The successful Match stories from YOG 2008 person is different from the
stories from YOG1990 one, right?
We should make the old FMG concept more clearly. Otherwise, it is so easy to

time to write something here. Also, It is a break time now.
I don't care how old others are. That is not my business. The issue is here
if it is suitable to encourage the people with the example you mentioned
earlier. I respect the mom with the small child so much for her dedication.
Don't get me wrong here.
But, the fact is that she was YOG2000 with US PhD. Supposed she matched on
year2009. It was just 8 years after her graduating from Medical school while
participating on Match in 2008. She is not too old, isn't she?
There are many people outside who failed to get 99 on tests or failed to
get a Match for years because of the reason I don't know. They are
suffering the frustration and becoming depression day by day. But, they don'
t need sympathy. You can't deny a group people like them existing in our
CMGs community.
For this year Match, so far, the best example we should learn from is Dr.
jfyn (老当益壮), but not rr6262789. I think everyone understand what I am
talking about.

观点不同，我希望大家通过讨论，以理服人。
我的想法是想说，现实世界不是“fantastic world" , 真实的世界是充满竞争与挑战
。做为弱势群体（毕业超过十年，没有us phd.），必须做好接受失败的心理准备，必
须做好plan-b准备。这样，我们才能坦然面对一切，无畏前行。
另外， 我认为看一个人是否成功，不应该以是否他／她成功match or not 为标准.
每一个人，只要能过说：“当我们回忆往事的时候，不会为碌碌无为而悔恨......."
就是一个很成功的人了， 不是吗？

思想永远没有统一的时候,讨论也不会有结果的...大约您没IV,闲的在这儿灌水...其实以您目前的
情况,准备SREP3,争取也来个95;找OB,不光为来年准备,主要是变变您的脑子,为进去以后日子想.
什么是交流问题,不单是指英文能力,很多AMG也被骂有交流问题的;找关系,广义的,好的推荐信,内部
推荐...想要做医生,就听老刀的,等不成了,再听别人的...总不能牺牲自己来证明他错罢....看您
的经历,大约是闷头一人干,别太固执,(要是牛人,也不会跑这儿);对了,行情如何,也别全看这
里.CMG MATCH上的很多都不知也不上这儿.

都曾不屑或跟俺顶过，现在，这些牛妹妹跟俺可是铁得很。他们经历过了就知道了
我当初说的那些是什么份量和价值。
当小鸡还没羽毛丰满，就拧着脖子对老母鸡说生蛋有个人得方法，你的也不一定对，
是很好笑的。
