休一周，休息的那一周可以去moonlight，拿到30万一年并不是很过分。此外
hospitalist市场正在趋于饱和，现在不干，过了这个村可能就没这个店了:)
做专科多三年的训练，毕业后如果在private practice需要一段时间逐渐积累病人数量
。如果去大学医院做发考题，那收入就更要降低一个档次了。不过许多人喜欢做专科的
成就感，如果在大学一不小心做成学术大牛，整一堆专利，那就另说了。
PMD虽然辛苦些，不过据说在华人多的地方几年后经营下来收入应该还不错的。专业上
可深可浅，对疾病的纵向了解也比较好。
我个人比较受不了金钱的诱惑，但对学术还多少有那么一点点留恋。今年打算最多rank
5个，跳不进喜欢的火坑就回家去老婆孩子热炕头了。 |

But lots of good place/hospitals have pretty high requirement/expectation
for hospitalists, like : cover ICU, manage mechanical Ventilator many night
shifts, etc. Do not feel the hospitalist job will get any easier when I am
older, especially as a mom. One more thing that I do not like hospitalist
is that it is a dumping ground of surgeons in many places.
I heard Family medicine is way far preferred than Internal medicine trained
for Primary care.
Different Superficiality varies a lot in terms of income, life style, job
sanctification.

One of my friend worked as a hospitalist in our hospital for 1 year then
back to cardio fellow last year. Never chase the 潮流，go for something you
like. You will work more than 20 years in the field you choose. Eventually
you will get your turn to earn big money!

pre-op and post-op.
Surgeons want hospitalists to babysit and cover calls for their patients, so
that they only need to take care of the operation and will not be called at
night.
