I am a Chinese Medical Graduate, working in US as research scientist now. I
took the CS test recently and passed with a decent score on my first try.
Though I had more than 10 years of clinical experience in China, I don’t
have any here, plus I only had 4 weeks to prepare. I am lucky that one
friend recommend Mr. Arthur Brunelle’s team to help me with my CS
preparation. I think Mr. Arthur Brunelle’s team played a very important
role in my success in CS test.
As far as I learned, Mr. Brunelle is an American teacher and has been
teaching English internationally since 1995. He has lots of experience in
teaching Chinese students English. In addition, he also had a background as
a practitioner in emergency medicine (all of the teachers in his group have
similar backgrounds). He has been successfully teaching CS and interview
preparation programs for the past 7+ years to candidates from all over the
world, the overall majority have been from China.
Characteristics of Mr. Brunelle’s CS program:
1 It covers all aspect of CS test and puts more emphasis on skills of CIS
and SEP sections. It best mimics the real SP encounter during the test. I
think it is way better and effective than to practice with your wife (
husband) or random fellow examinees on line.
2 It is completely customized for each individual student. Mr. Brunelle’s
team is going to find your weak aspects by free evaluation before the
program begins. You weak aspects will be addressed more in the preparation.
3 It focuses to help students standardize their CS encounters. It is one of
the 'keys' to maximizing your ability to pass. Once you have the
standardized protocol, you can handle any situation even it is a new and
unfamiliar one.
4 Lessons are done over the internet using Skype, with Google Talk or Yahoo
Messenger being a 'back up' program. All you need is a headset with
microphone. The schedule is very flexible. It is extremely good for those
examinees who work full time as me.
5 This program has a reasonable and flat tuition rate compared to other
similar program. Payment transfer by Paypal is easy and reliable.
All and all, I highly recommend everyone in this blog who need CS tutoring
