summary about his talk:
1: HPI is about 70% of the whole case. Do present the admission time and
reasons. Do mention if the patient looks sick, toxic or fine
2: PE should be less than 10%, which includes mainly positive signs. For
other negative systems, we should describe them in a little bit detail
rather than just saying within normal limit, such as “could not feel
spleen or liver”
3: Review of systems is the least thing that the attending wants to know.
4. Past medical history: Better to mention how long the patient has had
the disease.
5: Allergies: important
6: Meds: important. It is better to say like this way: the patient is
taking lithium for bipolar
7: Social history: important, including smoking, etoh, drugs, occupation,
who financially support the patient.
8: Labs: important. Give positive numbers.
9: It is better to know who is the PCP of the patient, what kind of
insurance do they have. | l********z 发帖数: 810 | | b********3 发帖数: 67 | |
