咱们中国人比他们毕业年限长，但是花一两百买衣服一般还不是问题。总体觉得，咱们
CMG面试时形象蛮不错的。有图有真相。 |

搞气氛啊？好呀好呀！不用给官做，我也是来这里欢乐的，呵呵
写总结啊？我今年手气有点太好了，总结起来对别人没啥用的。就像打麻将，没技术，
单凭“手壮”，这样的就算总结出来也是一副欠揍的样子。我可不干。嘿嘿嘿嘿。 |

beyond that. This young lad may have other shining points, which we CMGs
do not have.
Here are my 2 cents.
1. Their graduation years are generally much smaller/shorter than ours,
and are considered associated with Fresh medical knowledge and Young age
(even younger than AMGs, more energetic and faster learner).
2. Language advantage, despite their accent(s). English wording is more
critical than accent itself. Even in US, Southerners are considered
accented, but the use of vocabularies and understanding of western
culture are similar across US. I/Ps are better than us in these regards
for their English education and background.
3. Cultural acceptance. For many decades, East Asians have been
alienized in main culture and often have a hard time to immerse in and
become accepted
in conservative states/areas. I/Ps and Hispanics seem better perceived
in certain areas.
4. Connections. Many of them have direct or indirect connections which
you will never know. I've seen a cousin of one attending in a hospital
got OB with a famous pathologist, and of course later got in a decent
program with an LOR from that renowned pathologist. We, as CMGs, should
be more warmhearted and more ready to help our Tong Bao. SRF ACPA is a
good example of such effort, thanks to selfless volunteers and leaders.
CMGs also have our strengths
1. Stronger research background. If one's really interested in physician
scientist tract, it'll be perfect fit for Univ programs. But do not over
stress your research experience, because you are here to pursue clinical
training. It is your plus and strength, not the major.
2. Older, but also maturer and more responsible. You, or we, usually
have more or deeper understanding of life and family value. I also must
emphasize that CMGs used to considered responsible and hard working, but
for some bad apples, some programs started to change their perception
about us.
3. Being appreciative. Chinese has long been appraised for our
appreciativeness. In our proverb, a drop of water should be rewarded
with a well of spring (or Dripping of grace, when animals are reported.
滴水之恩涌泉相报).

滚着荷叶边儿的小西装，腰眼儿上一个黑色蝴蝶结，银色镂空高跟鞋。。。）就想起我
们还弄个女生组正儿八经地讨论那么多细节，叫我怎么镇定啊！！！只好不厚道了。。
