写下来抛砖引玉。希望对申请2013年的同学有点帮助。
附件里是去年10月在休斯顿的聚会上受Dr.Z的启发而制作的one page summary. 得到了
PD和面试官们的感谢。
1. For CV, I'd send ERAS version to the PD/PC, because that's the style they
are familiar with. They know where to find things important to them.
2. For PS, the language needs to be more succinct and more powerful. Ask the
native speaker friends to edit for you. Get one story from your recent U.S.
OB to show how you understand the American system. This will be the main
focus for our CMGs because we need to show the PD we know how to adapt to
the system to become an American doctor.
3.The ideal length of the PS is around 800 words, fitted in a page if it's
printed from ERAS website. | m******r

这些tips和one-page summary非常有用, 当初申请交了以后, 苦苦等待面试邀请, 觉得
与其在苦等, 不如给Programs发发信, 同时附上了这one-page summary, 后来在面试时
还看到这个被打印下来了放在PD桌上. 申请和面试季节, PD/PC们每天都被大量邮件电
话所包围, 让他们在短时间看到自己的shining points 就显得很重要. | p*********1
