想今年申请match试试？应该申请什么program比较现实?
听说internal medicine比较容易，有戏没？或是family medicine?或是physical

(1) Ob or Externship at least 8-12 mos to get strong LORs.
(2) Find the strong connections to get into the program directly.
Otherwise, if you do not have any excellent package like extraordinary
publications, you chance of getting an IV is very slim.
Just my suggestions but any exceptions could occur. |

Any suggestion for externship in NY area? What I know if Ob is very hard for
patient privacy. Usually you could apply for volunteer position, right? |

发帖数: 449 | 4 OB can help some, but I think you must email directly to the PD and ask for
an IV, otherwise your score will be screened out by software, most programs
for IMG set at 200 around for regular program or 220 for good programs. Just
like Dr Chi said, once you were in IV pool, the score is not that important
, interview will control your life. |

program have low set score...may be worth a try......
Based on your experiences, which specialty program should I apply? I will do
the OB for the specific program. Family medicine? Internal Medicine? Neuro?

painful for CMG, because FM doesn't like CMG. you also can try psychiatry
and pathology. |
