考得还可以（不是高分，超过平均线），自从上小学一年级开始就是好学生，生平之前
唯一fail过的考试是刚来美国驾照的笔试。
本来已经打算暂时放弃了，是同学和好朋友的鼓励之下决定八月份再考一次。在这里要
感谢langelin的帖子，让我鼓起勇气。她还热情的给我建议和分享她的资料，祝她今年
match顺利，好人好报！
在这里强烈推荐一下goldusmlereview的workshop，老师是很负责任的，最强的是他能
够看出每个学生的不足然后着重在这方面加强训练。我七月份去上课的时候正好那个星
期只有三个人，每个人他都着重指出不足，大家还都有不同的弱项。为了避免被打击得
太狠，前人的帖子也提过，最好考前两周去。这个workshop的另一优点是它是所有培训
班最便宜的。
对他的skype课，肯定是有帮助的，我在费城考的时候就有他和我网上练的case。但是
要忍受一下他的multitasking和上课的同时敲键盘，以及不守时。
这次pass了三项都没有进入borderline，不过也没有拿星星，但是已经很满足了。本人
是书呆子型，在国内没有上过临床，来美国一直在做research。还有顺便说一下考试中
心，我在费城考的，SEP也没有入borderline，所以费城是不是对SEP要求更高不是很确
定。
还要感谢一起上课，后来skype一起practice的cindy，长期稳定skype的partner eric

Would you please tell me what the difference between new version CS and new
CS?
Now I use FA as the main prepare material, do you think you met any cases
which you never thought before?
I heard that new CS, SP was draped already, did you put drape again when you
entered the room?
Patient's note, 3 differential Dx, and if you can not find enough new
symptoms and new physical, did you put in the same for the 3 Dx?
Closure, did you tell the SP the possible Dx in detail, or just said: You
have an infection in your throat. did you explain the following workups in
detail?

felt awful before and after the exam.
1. The difference between new and old cs is now patient do not score your
question list, so PN is more important for data gathering score. When I took
exam in philadelphia, patients tended to volunteer information.
2. Definitely, put more focus on minicases.
3. Yes, I did not drape again because they were draped already.
4. I used whatever supportive for each diagnosis, instead of trying to fill
all the space. But I did not get a star in data gathering, so you might need
advice from someone else who did get a star in that category.
5. I tried to tell sp as much as possible, what potential diagnosis, and
what tests I need to run.

发帖数: 14 | 7 Cocomilk, 恭喜 on your CS pass!!! I was lucky enough to pass too:) FA cases,
though are a must, were too lengthy to chew sometimes. Thank you and the
same Eric you mentioned for all the practices.
Just to add to Cocomilk's exellent post,
Go over all the mitbbs CS experiences you can find and you will gain
enormous insight on this exam.
ICE, go over all FA cases and, at a minimum, UW PE videos and cover all
common chief complaints and differentials. Questioning skills improve as you
practice. PNs need to be more succinct than FA ones unless you can type
really fast.
CIS, practice greeting, rapport showing, counseling, and a sensible and
caring closure. Will be best to have someone to tell you what you are
lacking.
SEP, could not really improve in a couple of months. So work on what you
have and be as articulate as possible.
Courses, goldusmle cs prep, benefited most from its PE instruction and sp
encounters. But as Cocomilk mentioned, better to go when you have primed
yourself to some degree. Arthur cs prep, benefited most from how to ask a
question in an American way. Arthur also has his own flow of questions so if
you would like to adapt it, it is better to start in the begining of your
prep. Once you have your own line of quesions, hard to change.
Hopefully, this is helpful for everyone who are to take the exam. Simply
want to say thanks for all the exellent posts that I have read and learned
from!!

我没能通过，考完时我就感觉很不好，我本来以为是fail在notes上，因为考前我一直
感觉自己最大的弱点是typing notes，所以在这方面花了更多的练习时间，结果是fail
在CIS上，让我更沮丧了，真不知下一步该怎么做。
