实在没有精力去弄这个事情。看来之前doughnut同学的召集帖已经close了。现在自己
重新开一个，召集同学 一起去拿deal.
americlership现在在做promotion,500/week，如果是有2个人以上可以拿到400/week的
deal。自己可以根据自己的location选择医院，现在是promotion期间，所以无论是
inpatient还是outpatient都是一个价格。而且似乎他们公司新增加了不少in-patient
locations. 这个可以具体和他们的agent电话里谈，因为是一个很长list，我没有要求
看，只是详细问了我自己的所在地的医院和自己感兴趣的program。
另外，membership fee有两种，$399，和$799的，都是1年的。我详细问了一下agent，
贵的那个包括了帮你修改PS，CV和ROL； 便宜的那个只包括修改CV。我具体也不太清楚
这两个的区别，可以自己问问agent，然后根据自己的经济情况选择。我自己选择的是$
399的， 因为不确定他们修改那些documents的水平。
因为自己留意了这个事情很久，这个deal像doughnut同学所说的，是很难得的deal了。
我想，刚好现在是淡季，他们公司搞promotion. 3月份match的结果出来，也许自己想
要的spot和时间就没有位置了。
我是计划hold住这个deal,打算是明年5-7月份做。

hospital但实际上去的是private clinic。有用过这个公司的同学介绍一下经验吗？谢

发帖数: 240 | 3 曾经跟这个公司打过交道，我的理解是基本上有两个选择：
1. 100% inpatient:这个是完全在医院里面实习，只有2-3个医生在医院提供这个服务
（分别在Chicago and Georgia）；
2. mixed inpatient + outpatient:一般医生会affiliated to xx hospital, 同时有
自己的office. 这个选择地点多，但在医院实习的时间会很少，depend on带教的医生
的schedule.

I will be fly back China tomorrow, and am afraid that I will not be able to
access to this BBS, or even my gmail account...if that is the case, you guys
can always call any agent in this company and tell them the price we are
having. I am sure they will give you the same price.
The one we have is $400 per week, regardless which program you are enrolled.
---originally there is price difference in in-patient and out-patient
programs.
Again, I am not sure about the quality of this company. I have read both
good and bad reviews about it. If you have connections that can help you
attain such opportunities, you don't have to spend the money in this way...

发帖数: 50 | 8 我倒是和这个公司打过一点交道，个人觉得不是那种很讲信用的公司，顾问滑头滑脑，
比较professional的是少数，反正是一旦交了钱，甭想要回来一毛，服务也一般，说是
teaching hospital，其实好多是private clinical with hospital experience，这个
有多少in-patient就很难说了,带学生的attendings绝大多数也是没有什么connection
的IMG或是AMG，去clinic的主要看先生是否肯教，心情如何，我曾遇到过被扔在
nursing home没人管，和老头老太瞎唠嗑，临床没太学到，英语肯定是练了，当然也有
比较认真负责的先生。他们是要到开始externship前一周才告诉医生的信息联系方式，
遇到怎样的很难预料。
他们还有个sister company叫advanced college of American,据说是把IMG放在
medical assistant program里面，这个medical assistant不是PA，就是那种在前台接
个电话给病人测测血压什么的，高中生都可以读，个人觉得把那个放CV里面怕是有点悬
，哪个PD会不知道medical assistant是干甚的，hands on是hands on了，这个工作性
质怕是和resident还是不同。
当然我这种在US无依无靠无门路的也没有别的选择，如果有门路，另当别论了。 |
