(1). UW qbank – online [教训!!!!!, 只完成了70%, ~ 74% correct -----get
refund for the unused 30% from UW]
(2). USMLERx qbank – online [汗, 只完成了75%,]
1. UW 题库 ----一定要尽早开始做.
如果能重来一次, 我会学习一章/科, 做UW对应一章/科的题目(分科做), 这是第一遍.
待全部学完一遍后, 用timed+mixed 评估学习+检测漏洞.
我的教训是没有早做UW. UW在它的欢迎页上就写得一清二楚 ----- UW目的是为了提高
你的学习水准. 是用来教你学习的题库. 很遗憾我(也许还有其他同学)没有早明白这一
点. UW不只是供你检测评估用, 更重要是用来学习的.
弄懂并掌握每一个选项. (掌握=记住知识点和原理)
UW题出得很好, 一方面体现在各个不同选项都在检测你的掌握程度.
比如:根据微生物的描述―――＞判断微生物,
根据病理发现的描述―――＞判断疾病,
不光弄懂正确选项, 也要弄懂备选项才真正利用好了UW.
2. 不要忽略CD (USMLE sample questions ---- 过去称USMLE 150q) 2005-2013
CD is as good as NBME!!!!!
---因为是同一个委员会出的题. 所以CD中常有原题和原图出现, 或利用原图考查不同
知识点.
要点不光是为了做题, 而是掌握NBME和CD中出现的每一个知识点!!!!
CD 2005-2009 KAPLAN 有详尽的解释(free PDF file on web) -----等于一个极好的
free题库.
可下载到2006-2013年的CD

注意: 如果你要去Prometric 摸考, 就不要看当年和前一年的CD. 题是一样的.
3. NBME /CD题库 ----一定要尽早开始做.
我的教训还是做晚了. 所以NBME1-4没有做, 好多CD都没有做.
Again, 不光是为了检测, 而是要掌握NBME/CD中出现的每一个知识点----因为就在同一
个题库里.
4. 提炼原理Extract principle ---- instead of find the answer for one
question.
把几个相近的题目放到一块---互相比较, 建立笔记上的cross-reference, 提炼并总结
原理做到举一反三.
我的Behavior sci.从一个月前的最差项目提高到正式考试时的Star subject (强项).
For example: Behavior sci. questions, [我不便写的太细, 怕影响还没有做NBME/
CD的同学测试]…每一点都是一组常见的考题.
Suicide risk,
pt’s autonomy
paternalism [doctor, good?]
体会Board 出题的意图 [许多前辈都提到这点, 再次强调]----- think like a doctor

For example, [Symptoms worsen/exacerbated by…./ in … time ---- 常是重要线
索]
Board 出题给出的阴性数据-----could be important for ruling out certain dz.
Do NOT ignore them!!!
是的, 考题中是有多余信息, 但Board 出题总体straightforward, 给出的数据, 体征,
常常都是有用的. 比如 BMI (PCOS, DM..…)
注意题目中的语气. 如…说一个病, jaundice….(看似重)., BUT…. . 尤其要注意
转折语气后面的东西…(Board有意give away clues or suggest…. jaundice….(其实
轻).,)
Read ALL choices ---- unless you run out of time.
5. 速度与质量
套用天之蝎子 前辈一句“人参不是每个人都能补得起，也不是每个人都需要补”
盗版ID 大侠能够 “一套7X46的题要强迫自己一天搞定外加快速过一遍。…...” ----
我当时看到这儿, 真是感叹. 盗版大侠---实在非我等能及[pei fu].
我做UW/NBME/CD是timed+mixed做的, 订正一套46q section要3-6小时, 平均大约4-4.
5hr. 我速度慢, 但是确保质量高. 不管题目做正确与否, 只要是学习要点, 全部手写
在另外的笔记本上(FA 上地方根本不够), 作为HY note. 而且手写好处是画图表, 示意
图, 简写, 较快.

这些所有UW/NBME/CD的HY note ----我都是订正一套46q section, 当天digital
recorder录音, 灌进iTouch. ----平时上班, 吃饭, 路上, 睡前重复听……[

我实在做不到大牛前辈们那么快, 就不要跟自己过不去了. 最后我比较confident to
achieve 250 因为大部分知识点都掌握了.
最后一周没时间了, UW 只完成到70%一遍 [绝不提倡, 这是我的深刻教训!!!]. UW 的
两套SIM也没做{UW退钱给我了}. USMLERx 也只完成到75%[可能还不到]. 考前两个月就
再没做RX了. 我觉得帮助不是那么大 [如果你有时间, 要做就早做].
最后一周----集中在FA+ UW/NBME/CD的HY note. 我的经历从另一个侧面提示, 知识点
掌握的质量是关键.
因为自己绝大多数时间闭门造车, 很羡慕别人小组学习----又把FA, UW 过了几遍…..[
我UW一遍都没弄完, 汗].
没有别的意思, 善意提醒小组学习的同学, 不要只注意过的遍数, 珍惜小组学习的机会
, 同时确保质量. Because ultimately, on STEP1, it’s the QUALITY of your
knowledge retention that counts, not JUST how many times you read the FA or
UW. [I am not saying 过的遍数 is not important. It’s actually the
opposite.]
6. 考试的一些考点
大部分被UW和NBME/CD覆盖.
•FA2012—p267-268 根据BP&HR 判断是那两个药物.
•Hysterosalpingogram picture ---- 问哪儿有问题. 我死活看不出哪儿有问题
---- 估计做错了[以前做过一道类似的题.我还专门学习过 --- 真是没办法]
•脑干图, CN …认神经.

极好, 我用来复习各种神经截面图, 血管遭影.
•CD中有Parkinson病人的video presentation 要求诊断. 我真考中没有碰到,
但大家要小心, 一旦CD中有了的题目, 预示STEP1题库中已经有了. 所以….

•FA2012—p 340, GI, abdominal aorta—collateral circulation [我做错了]
•一道肩部解剖题 ---彻底没线索[我解剖是weakest item among the subjects]
•心音题不能蒙出来. 一定要能听出来, 至少要能区分FA上几个重要代表性的心
音. 我提前一个月开练, 从网上下载心音练习. 一个月足够了. 心音题千万不能放弃或

每道题都不能放弃或大意 ------寸题必争.
因为根据我的估算在240-250这个范围, NBME form(4 sections), 大约 1.8 point/
question. 多做对5-6题就是10分啊.
考试的经历就免了, less important.
看前辈的考经+ take a practice test at the Prometric test center 足够了.

But if you choose to purchase NBME with expanded feedback, NBME will show
you the questions that you didn't answer correctly. Then, the rest, which
NBME will not show you, are those you answer correctly.
(Alternatively, if you form a group with other classmates, you guys exhange
info about which questions you didn't get right, you will know the right
answer.)
This forum contains lots of good discussion on NBME forms. You can also find
answer here.

3. Lastly, be careful about the online NBME form. Although for each Form,
the content is the same, the order of questions/sections may be DIFFERENT

因为根据我的估算在240-250这个范围, NBME form(4 sections), 大约 1.8 point/
question. 多做对5-6题就是10分啊.
考试的经历就免了, less important.
看前辈的考经+ take a practice test at the Prometric test center 足够了.

1. please leave your email address, if you want kaplan的step1 cd的解释.
2. NBME does not provide 答案
But if you choose to purchase NBME with expanded feedback, NBME will show
you the questions that you didn't answer correctly. Then, the rest, which
NBME will not show you, are those you answer correctly.
(Alternatively, if you form a group with other classmates, you guys exhange
info about which questions you didn't get right, you will know the right
answer.)
This forum contains lots of good discussion on NBME forms. You can also find
answer here.

3. Lastly, be careful about the online NBME form. Although for each Form,
the content is the same, the order of questions/sections may be DIFFERENT
for different individuals.
