Dear Student Doctor,
The August 14, 2013 USMLE Step 2 CS results have been delayed due to score
changes and making sure the quality of passing score is valid for the
upcoming match year. I hope you understand this matter and please do not
hesitate to contact NBME for any questions you may have. In the mean time
please understand this delay is for your benefit, since the passing mark
will be adjusted to pass more test takers from other 2013 reporting periods.
Also there will be no reporting on the September 11, 2013.

看到这个消息，心情很复杂，一方面替以后的考生包括我自己而高兴，一方面为自己过
去的经历难过。我在2013年的上半年fail了cs，将要在下半年考第二次。cs 降低通过
率只限制在2013年上半年，这对像我这样在这个阶段fail掉的考生太不公平了。这一次
fail成为residency申请的 flag，严重影响了今年的match计划以及以后的match成功率
，因为很多program要求cs一次通过。
上半年cs fail掉的考生们，愿不愿意联合起来appeal。主要内容是由于cs评分标准处
于变化的过渡阶段，我们cs fail掉的真实性值得斟酌。可否将2013年上半年cs fail掉
的成绩取消，不记录，重新考试作为第一次考试。这样的要求是否过分？ | l*****h

decrease the criterion of passing CS on the contrary I am sure they want to
make it harder.
